I would like to express my satisfaction with the event you catered for us at the Edna Balley Vineyard on November 17, 2007. I arranged a party for 10 people who had gone to kindergarten in 1952 who were all turing 60 this year.

We wanted to have a nice party together instead of celebrating several birthdays and adding to the holiday party list.

We arranged for an afternoon of wine tasting, finishing with a gourmet dinner at the Edna Valley Vineyard.

Your staff was both friendly and professional. Each course, starting with Hors D' Oeuvres and finishing with desert was a visual and taste treat.

I have traveled the world, etertained and been entertainded and I would rank your dinner and presentation near the top.

"I would like to thank you and your chef for the outstanding food that was served at the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education's Staff Reception June 7, 2001.  The quality, selection, presentation, and the quantity were excellent.  So many comments were given to me and other staff, "Where did the food come from?  It is delicious!"

Co-workers came up to me the next day to commend me on the food and asked "Who catered the event?  The food was wonderful."  Other staff in my department said that people seated at their table during the event were also raving about the food.

I would also like to express my appreciation to Sarah for her service and help during the event.  She made sure everything was replenished, kept neat, and helped in any way that she could when asked by me or other staff.

You and your staff smoothly and quickly set up and were ready to go on time, even though it was probably the hottest and most uncomfortable day of the year!  Again, please give my thanks and sincere appreciation to all your staff involved.  I look forward to working with you on future events for this office."

First, let me start off by telling you how very pleased we were with our banquet at the Fairways on Saturday night, October 6, 2001.  Overall, it was a great event and I'm sure our guests all enjoyed themselves.

Specifically, I would like to comment on several aspects of the event.  First and foremost, the food was outstanding.  Your chef did a superb job not only in preparation, but also in the quality and display of all the food.  I hear comment after comment about how good the dinner was...In addition, it was attractively served, excellent portions, and most of all, the food was served HOT.  This is an accomplishment in and of itself, as serving dinner to nearly 170 people at once is quite a feat.

Finally, I want to compliment your staff.  There certainly was enough dining room staff to handle the crowd.  Often at these types of events, caterers will try to get by with the minimum number of servers and you will have guests waiting for food, water, plates to be cleared, but this wasn't the case Saturday night.  There was always someone around to handle any request or keep the tables services.  Everything ran very smoothly.

As I said several times, we are a casual crowd and our guests are interested in good food, good atmosphere, and car talk.  Your establishment provided the first two, and we added the third, and I believe we had a very successful event.  I did have many guests tell me they thought this was our best banquet ever!

Thank you again to your chef, to Kim, your very capable staff, and to you for your coordination of this event.  I will certainly recommend you to anyone looking for a great location for a banquet of any kind.


Thank you for allowing us to hold the Cal Poly Alumni Association's Evening of Fine Wine and Music at the Fairways.  Your facility was a perfect venue for our event.

We were very impressed with you and your staff's professionalism and with the layout of the event.  The food was excellent and its presentation was impressive.  Your staff was accommodating, easy to work with, and friendly.  We felt our needs were more than well served and will more than likely hold future events there.

Thank you for an outstanding lunch on March 14th!  The 33 men and the women of the RAMS's Walking Group were delighted, and have passed on to me many compliments regarding the quality and freshness of ingredients, the way the food was presented on the plate, the great taste, varied menu, friendly, cheerful, efficient servers and your graciousness as host.  Thank you, also, for the bonus dessert; it was a special touch that we all enjoyed.

I was on the committee to select facilities for our 63rd High School Class reunion.

After "checking" many restaurants, hotel dining rooms etc., we chose Fairways at Dairy Creek.  Our choice proved to be an excellent one.  The owner and staff were very helpful, polite and accommodating.  The banquet room was very cheery and inviting with its bright lights.  The food was delicious and plentiful.

I highly recommend Fairways at Dairy Creek for your future banquet/reception etc. whatever the occasion may be.

Thank you very much for the personal and business hospitality that you showed KCBX and our special guest, National Public Radio garden expert, Ketzel Levine, at the brunch Fairways hosted on Saturday, May 5th.

Everyone in our group had a splendid time and raved about the food.  It was especially nice to be able to be seated out on the patio.  Ms. Levine felt it was a special treat to enjoy the delicious food while admiring our gorgeous scenery.

Just a note to let you know how pleased we are with the Donor's Luncheon last Tuesday.  Everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end.  I have had many comments from attendees that the food was exceptional and the service outstanding.
 
Donors must be handled carefully.  They want to be recognized, but they don't want much money spent on them in doing so.  And they are correct.  They want their contributions spent on patient care, not frivolous meals.  The group last week commented that the room was lovely and obviously not "overdone", and they were very impressed with the meal.
